¡Exceeded all of our expectations!
Our Kenya vacation with Nyala Tours was exactly what we wanted. We trusted Miguel’s expertise and experience and the trip he planned for us exceeded all of our expectations! The hotels and lodges he recommended were lovely and our driver was so knowledgeable and fun. We felt safe and well-taken care of throughout the entire trip. Nyala Tours made everything easy and we will definitely book with them again!
We really did have a wonderful time. If I could change anything, I would ask for another day in Nairobi and a driver so that I could do some exploring and see more of the city. I remember the street our house was on and I would have liked to try and find it. Also visit the school. Just means we need to return! The Sarova hotels were all great as was the Amboseli hotel. The only place that we did not love was the Tamarind Tree, especially after we had the day room in the Crowne Plaza. That hotel is right by the airport and very nice – would be great to go there right off the plane as well to recover from the flight. We loved our driver Patrick, he made sure we saw all the animals and that we had the best view of them. We managed to see the Big 5 and the Samburu 5 so it was pretty special. And he was a lively character with lots of stories and information to share. Both my girls really liked him and that says a lot since teenage girls can be very particular!
We had a great time and will definitely be in touch. We need a time to replenish our vacation fund but we want to do a trip to South Africa and Namibia or Botswana next but I think we could also be easily convinced to do Kenya again.
