Para mi como primera y autentica introducci\u00f3n a los safari, mi destino favorito es Kenia, lo tiene todo, una variedad de h\u00e1bitats impresionantes, un clima ideal, unos parques y fauna espectaculares, una infraestructura turista de primer nivel y una cultura y pueblo encantador, Tanzania seria otra opci\u00f3n parecida y luego si os encanta \u00c1frica, es ya cuesti\u00f3n de especializarse en otro tipo de fauna africana visitando Uganda, Sud\u00e1frica, Bostwana y Namibia.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Destinations:<\/strong> Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Botswana.\u00a0 Personally, as the first and genuine introduction to safaris, my favorite destination is Kenya, it has everything, a variety of impressive habitats, an ideal climate, spectacular parks and fauna, a world-class tourist infrastructure and a charming culture and people, Tanzania would be another similar option and then if you love Africa, it is already a matter of specializing in another type of African fauna visiting Uganda, South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00bfOrganizado o por su cuenta?:<\/b>\u00a0 El principal problemas de organizarlo por tu cuenta es que os vais a perder seguro, ya que dentro de los parques nacionales no hay se\u00f1ales y al cabo de un rato no sabes por donde vas, aventuras os van a ocurrir todas y hay que ser una persona muy \u2018auto suficiente y planificadora\u2019 adem\u00e1s que al no estar acostumbrado a buscar fauna, siempre vas a ver menos animales que si vas con gu\u00eda. Organizado es la mejor opci\u00f3n puesto que evitas el peligro y vas a ver muchos animales, vas con profesionales y tu dinero lo inviertes en ver fauna en las mejores condiciones.<\/span><\/div>\n

Organized or on your own?:<\/strong>\u00a0 The main problem of organizing it on your own is that you are going to get lost for sure, since within the national parks there are no signs and after a while you do not know where you are going.\u00a0 Adventures will all happen and you have to be a very ‘self sufficient and planning’ person besides that not being accustomed to look out for wildlife, you will always see less animals than if you go with a guide.\u00a0 An organized safari the best option since you avoid the danger and you will see many more animals, you go with professionals and your money is invested in seeing fauna in the best conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c9poca del a\u00f1o: <\/b>En Kenia por ejemplo todo el a\u00f1o hace buen clima, al estar en el ecuador, la diferencia es la \u00e9poca de lluvias que no seria recomendable haciendo camping, si estas en alojamientos de calidad hasta en \u00e9poca de lluvia puedes viajar y que son chaparrones ocasionales.<\/span><\/div>\n

Time of year:<\/strong>\u00a0 In Kenya for example all year round has good weather, being in\u00a0 the equator, the difference is the rainy season that isn\u00b4t\u00a0 recommended to go camping, if you are in quality accommodations including the rainy season you can travel and there are occasional showers.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Tipo de Alojamiento: <\/b>Tented camp, lodges o camping. E sto var\u00eda en funci\u00f3n de cada presupuesto, los tented camps son los m\u00e1s exclusivos, son tiendas de campa\u00f1a de lujo con un servicio exquisito. Los lodges son los alojamientos m\u00e1s habituales y con servicio de categor\u00eda internacional, las habitaciones suelen ser bungalows con todas las comodidades.<\/span><\/div>\n

El camping es lo m\u00e1s barato, incomodo pero mas cerca de la naturaleza pero solo para los mas aventureros, \u00a1las noches est\u00e1n llenas de ruidos muy cerca de la tienda!<\/span><\/div>\n

Type of Accommodation:<\/strong> Tented camp, lodges or camping.\u00a0 This varies according to each budget, the tented camps are the most exclusive, they are luxury tents with exquisite service.\u00a0 The lodges are the most usual accommodations and with international service, the rooms are usually bungalows with all the comforts.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Camping is the cheapest, uncomfortable but closer to nature, but only for the more adventurous, the nights are full of noises very close by to the tent!<\/span><\/p>\n

Vestiment<\/b><\/span>a: <\/b>Ropa c\u00f3moda durante todo el viaje.\u00a0 Para las salidas de safari, colores claros para que no se ‘note’ el polvo. Si el safari es en alojamiento<\/span>s de calidad, no son necesarias u<\/span>na botas de \u2018senderismo\u2019 ya que en los parques nacionales por la fauna, no vamos a hacer caminatas, con unas deportivas son suficientes. En cambio si vamos de camping si es recomendable unas buenas botas para protegernos mejor.\u00a0 Por la noche en los ‘lodges’ podemos vestirnos mas de ‘sport’ y quitarnos esa ropa de batalla del safari. En la<\/span> playa ropas ligeras y c\u00f3modas.<\/span><\/div>\n

Clothing:<\/strong> Comfortable clothing through out the trip.\u00a0 For safari outings, light colors so you do not ‘notice’ the dust.\u00a0 If the safari is in quality accommodations, there is no need for a hiking boots because in the national parks because of wildlife, you will not go hiking, with a couple sports shoes it\u00b4ll be enough.\u00a0 On the other hand, if we go camping we recommend good boots to protect us better.\u00a0 At night in the ‘lodges’ we can dress more ‘sport’ and take off those battle clothes of the safari.\u00a0 On the beach light and comfortable clothes.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Vacunas – Insectos – Mosquitos: <\/b>sobretodo tener precauci\u00f3n y evitar que nos piques los mosquitos cubri\u00e9ndonos las piernas al atardecer y utilizando repelente anti-mosquitos. Si vais a Tanzania se necesita la vacuna de la fiebre amarilla y si fuerais a las costas tanto de Kenia y Tanzania se necesitan tomar pastillas contra la malaria.<\/span><\/p>\n

En los lodges hay mosquiteras o repelente y al ser un clima m\u00e1s bien seco, no hay tantos insectos. Eso si, si vais a hacer camping al estar mas cerca de la naturaleza, el riesgo de ser picado por insectos es mucho m\u00e1s alto.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Vaccines – Insects – Mosquitoes:<\/strong> above all take precautions and avoid getting bitten by mosquitoes covering our legs at sunset and using anti-mosquito repellent.\u00a0 If you go to Tanzania you need the yellow fever vaccine and if you go to the beaches of both Kenya and Tanzania you need to take pills against malaria.\u00a0 In the lodges there are mosquito nets or repellent and being a rather dry climate, there are not so many insects.\u00a0 That is, if you are going to do camping you\u00b4ll be closer to nature, the risk of being bitten by insects is much higher.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Llevar un Kit de limpieza para el polvo y suficiente memor\u00eda para hacer muchas, muchas fotos.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
