Uganda es una verdadera joya escondida en \u00c1frica respecto, a sus vecinos mucho m\u00e1s conocidos como Kenia y Tanzania. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Uganda combina muchas actividades que hacen que este viaje sea muy completo, sabanas, cataratas, lagos, cr\u00e1teres, monta\u00f1as (hasta glaciares) todo en un entorno siempre verde y exuberante y con una variedad de fauna incre\u00edble, desde la fauna tradicional africana pasando por la observaci\u00f3n de chimpanc\u00e9s y gorilas de monta\u00f1a.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nyala Tours<\/span> just came back from an amazing trip to Uganda invited by our correspondent and we<\/span><\/span>\u00b4d like\u00a0to share\u00a0with you our experience and resume what was a fantastic itinerary full of emotions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Uganda is a real gem\u00a0hidden\u00a0in Africa,\u00a0with\u00a0respect of\u00a0their much better known neighbours like Kenya and Tanzania. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Uganda combines many activities that make this trip very complete , savannahs, waterfalls, lakes, craters, mountains (even with\u00a0glaciers) all in an ever green and lush environment and with a variety of amazing wildlife, from game spotting of the traditional African wildlife to\u00a0the observation of chimpanzees and mountain gorillas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

D\u00eda 1 Entebbe:<\/strong>\u00a0 Nuestro vuelo lleg\u00f3 de madrugada as\u00ed que la mejor opci\u00f3n para no conducir hasta Kampala por la noche era quedarse en alguno de los hoteles alrededor del aeropuerto de Entebbe, fue la forma m\u00e1s c\u00f3moda de descansar al llegar a Uganda.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Day 1 Entebbe:<\/strong> \u00a0Our flight arrived early in the morning so the best choice so as not to drive, to Kampala at night was staying at one of the hotels around the airport, in Entebbe, it was the most convenient way to rest on reaching Uganda.<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u00eda 2 Kampala:<\/strong> La ciudad no tiene nada especial pero sirve de introducci\u00f3n al pa\u00eds y siempre es agradable pasear por la capital y sentir la vida diaria. Estuvimos visitando su mercado y dando un paseo por las principales calles comerciales. Esta segunda noche dormimos en lugar fant\u00e1stico a las afueras de la ciudad con unas incre\u00edbles vistas del lago Victoria, el Cassia Lodge.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Kampala Day 2:<\/strong> \u00a0The city has nothing special,\u00a0but serves as an introduction to the country and it is always pleasant to stroll through the capital city and feel the daily life. \u00a0We visited the market and passed\u00a0through the main shopping streets. \u00a0On this second night we slept\u00a0in a fantastic place\u00a0outside the city with incredible views of Lake Victoria, the Cassia Lodge.<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u00eda 3 Parque Nacional de Murchison Falls:<\/strong> Este parque se encuentra en el extremo norte del Valle del Rift Albertine y es el mayor y m\u00e1s antiguo \u00e1rea de conservaci\u00f3n de Uganda contando con 76 especies de mam\u00edferos y 451 aves.<\/span><\/p>\n

El parque se divide en dos por el Nilo Victoria con su famosa catarata Murchison y que luego fluye tranquilamente hasta el Lago Alberto. \u00a0Este tramo del r\u00edo proporciona uno de los espect\u00e1culos m\u00e1s notables de la fauna de Uganda ya que los turistas hacen el safari en barco desde el r\u00edo.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Day 3 Muchison Falls National Park:<\/strong>\u00a0 This park is located at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley and is the largest and oldest conservation area of Uganda having 76 species of mammals and 451 of birds.<\/span><\/p>\n

The park is divided in two by the Victoria Nile with its famous Murchison waterfalls and then calmly flows into Lake Albert. \u00a0This stretch of the river provides one of the most remarkable displays\u00a0of Uganda\u00b4s\u00a0wildlife as\u00a0tourists go on\u00a0the safari by boat on\u00a0the river.<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u00eda 4 Selva de Budongo \/ Observaci\u00f3n de chimpanc\u00e9s:<\/strong> La selva se encuentra cerca del parque de Murchison. Este es el mayor bosque de caoba que se encuentra en el conjunto de \u00c1frica Oriental, as\u00ed como h\u00e1bitat para el mayor n\u00famero de chimpanc\u00e9s de toda Uganda.<\/span><\/p>\n

Budongo Forest Day 4 \/ Observation of chimpanzees:<\/strong>\u00a0 The jungle is near Murchison Park this was\u00a0the largest mahogany forest found in the whole of East Africa, as well as habitat for the largest number of chimpanzees across Uganda.<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u00eda 5 Los cr\u00e1teres de Kasenda:\u00a0<\/strong> Este d\u00eda es de tr\u00e1nsito entre el bosque de Budongo y el parque nacional de Queen Elizabeth y nos ayuda a hacer una parada paisaj\u00edstica muy agradable. \u00a0Los cr\u00e1teres de Kasenda son varios lagos creados a partir de los antiguos cr\u00e1teres de volcanes que tienen una belleza incre\u00edble donde algunos de los hoteles est\u00e1n situados con vistas a ellos, y es una manera de disfrutar de este paisaje, conocer la vida rural y los tipos de plantaciones de Uganda como el t\u00e9, todo con el espectacular fondo de las monta\u00f1as Rwenzori o las monta\u00f1as de la luna con la tercera cima de \u00c1frica.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 5 craters Kasenda:<\/strong> \u00a0This day is of transit\u00a0between Budongo Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park and helps us make a very pleasant\u00a0scenic stop. \u00a0Kasenda Craters are several lakes created from ancient craters of volcanoes that have incredible beauty where some of the hotels are built overlooking them, and it\u00b4s a fantastic way to enjoy the views and learn about rural life and about the types Uganda\u00b4s plantations such as tea, all with the spectacular sceneries\u00a0of the Rwenzori mountains or the mountains of the moon with the third highest summit of Africa.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Camino hacia los lagos de Kasenda, tuvimos una experiencia muy emocionante al tener la oportunidad de plantar \u00e1rboles aut\u00f3ctonos en el bosque de Bugoma<\/strong> y de esta manera poner nuestro granito de arena en la conservaci\u00f3n de la naturaleza.<\/span><\/p>\n

La noche anterior en Hoima, nuestro corresponsal fue a buscar plantas para repoblar el bosque, ya que es el hogar de importante fauna como elefantes, b\u00fafalos y primates como los chimpanc\u00e9s, el colobo blanco y negro, el mono de cola roja, mangabee y el mono azul.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Por desgracia solo encontr\u00f3 reto\u00f1os de pinos y Eucaliptos pero en el \u00faltimo momento le llevaron a una persona que iba a cerrar su negocio por falta de demanda de \u00e1rboles aut\u00f3ctonos y pudo comprarles plantas del \u00e1rbol Mzizi (que significa `r\u00edo\u00b4) y le prometi\u00f3 que comprar\u00eda 500 <\/span>\u00e1rboles de ellas al a\u00f1o para darle negocio y as\u00ed poder reforestar el bosque.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

En Uganda existe un problema de desforestaci\u00f3n en zonas naturales a causa de la presi\u00f3n que ejerce el ser humano pero gracias a la preservaci\u00f3n del medio ambiente y a la promoci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica del pa\u00eds, los recursos de Uganda se puede proteger de una manera m\u00e1s efectiva. <\/span>Actualmente hay una investigaci\u00f3n para abrir la zona para poder ver los chimpanc\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the way to the Kasenda lakes, we had a very exciting experience to have the opportunity to plant indigenous\u00a0trees in the forest of Bugoma<\/strong> and thus put our grain of sand on the conservation of nature. <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The night before in Hoima, our correspondent went looking for plants to repopulate the forest, as it is the home to important wildlife like elephants, buffalos and primates such as chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkey, red-tailed monkey, mangabee and blue Monkey. \u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Unfortunately, he only found saplings trees of pine and eucalyptus,\u00a0but at the last moment he was taken to a person who was about to\u00a0close down his\u00a0business due to lack of demand for indigenous\u00a0trees, and so he was able to\u00a0buy plants of the Mzizi tree (meaning ‘river’) and promised the vender that he will buy 500 trees a year to give him business and to be able to\u00a0reforest. <\/span><\/div>\n

In Uganda there is a problem of deforestation in natural areas because of the pressure placed\u00a0by humans, but thanks to the preservation of the environment and the tourism promotion in the country, the resources of Uganda can be protected more effectively.<\/span><\/div>\n

There is currently an investigation to open the area inorder to visit the\u00a0chimpanzees.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

D\u00eda 6 y 7 Parque Nacional de Queen Elisabeth:<\/strong> Reconocido en 1979 como reserva de la Biosfera, tiene una superficie de 1.978 Km\u00b2\u00a0y se encuentra a una altitud de entre 910 y 1.390 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Hace fontrera con los parques de Kigezi, Kyambura, el Parque Nacional de Kibale y con el Parque Nacional Virunga\u00a0 (Rep.Dem.del Congo). El Santuario del Canal de Kazinga en el\u00a0este del Parque constituye el limite central de la costa sur del Lago George. Los lagos George y Edward est\u00e1n unidos por el Canal deKazinga, el cual divide en dos al Parque. Queen Elisabeth tiene tres h\u00e1bitats diferentes; el bosque tropical, la sabana y los pantanos.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Day 6 and 7 Queen Elizabeth National Park:<\/strong> \u00a0Recognized in 1979 as a Biosphere Reserve, it covers an area of \u200b\u200b1,978 square kilometers and is located at an altitude of between 910 and 1,390 meters above sea level. \u00a0It borders\u00a0with parks of Kigezi, Kyambura and Kibale National Park and Virunga National Park (Dem.Rep.of Congo). \u00a0The Sanctuary of the Kazinga Channel\u00a0in the east of the park is the central boundary of the southern shore of Lake George. \u00a0 Lakes George and Edward are joined by the Kazinga Channel, which divides the park into two. \u00a0 Queen Elisabeth has three different habitats; tropical forest, savannah and swamps .<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u00eda 8 Selva de Bwindi \/ Observaci\u00f3n de los gorilas de monta\u00f1a:<\/strong> En 1991 se design\u00f3 como parque nacional al bosque de Bwindi y la reserva de Mgahinga para proteger a los gorilas de monta\u00f1a. En este parque se organizan las caminatas para la observaci\u00f3n de los gorilas en su entorno natural con la ayuda de guias expertos. Son varios los grupos de gorilas habituados en el parque a la presencia del hombre.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Parque Nacional del Bosque de Bwindi cuenta con 400 gorilas repartidos en todo el parque o lo que es lo mismo. la mitad de la poblaci\u00f3n de gorilas de monta\u00f1a del mundo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Son varios los grupos que se pueden visitar y nosotros visitamos el grupo de Bweza<\/strong>, de 17\u00a0miembros, 2 de ellos\u00a0peque\u00f1os siempre liderados por un macho de espalda plateada. \u00a0Curiosamente este grupo se separ\u00f3 en el 2012, creando uno de los machos, un nuevo grupo familiar.<\/span><\/p>\n

La caminata fue dura ya tuvimos que buscar los gorilas campo a trav\u00e9s por toda la selva, no hay caminos marcados ya que los gorilas no se mueven por caminos si no libremente por la selva as\u00ed que la caminata es intensa y solo gracias al trabajo de los gu\u00edas\u00a0y la ayuda de porteadores es posible hacerla con \u00e9xito para cualquier persona con buena salud. \u00a0Necesitamos guantes para poder sujetarnos en las ramas sin cortarnos las manos, un bast\u00f3n ayuda y los rastreadores van abriendo la selva para pasar un poco m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil. \u00a0Un litro y medio de agua es recomendable ya que sudas mucho. \u00a0\u00a1Toda una experiencia!<\/span><\/p>\n

Una vez localizado el grupo de gorilas, nos quedamos 1 hora observ\u00e1ndolos tranquilamente, haciendo fotos de ellos y siguiendo sus pasos, ya que no estas parados, si no que se mueven por la selva.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park has 400 gorillas scattered throughout the park or what is the same half of the population of mountain gorillas in the world. <\/span><\/p>\n

Several groups can be visited and were designated the Bweza<\/strong> group of 17 members, 2 of them small ones, always led by a male silverback. \u00a0Curiously, this group split in 2012, creating by one of the males, a new family. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The walk was tough and we had to search for gorillas through the\u00a0lush jungle.\u00a0\u00a0No tracks were\u00a0marked as gorillas do not move by paths, rather\u00a0freely through the jungle so the walk is intense and only thanks to the work of the guides and the help of the porters one can make it through successfuly for anyone that is in good health. \u00a0Gloves are needed to grab the\u00a0branches without hurting\u00a0your hands, and a walking stick is\u00a0helpful,\u00a0and the guides\u00a0open up the forest to make the walk\u00a0a little easier. A litre and a half of water is recommended because you sweat allot. \u00a0A\u00a0true\u00a0experience! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Once the group of gorillas was located, we were aloud one hour watching them quietly, taking pictures of them, \u00a0and following them in their\u00a0footsteps.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
