\u00a1Todo un espect\u00e1culo!<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Este a\u00f1o nos hemos decantado por Sri\u00a0Lanka y de nuevo \u00a1TODO UN ESPECT\u00c1CULO! <\/span><\/p>\n

El servicio genial, los hoteles muy buenos, el pa\u00eds\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.., precioso, exuberante, con historia, cultura, naturaleza, playa y \u00a1\u00a1apenas turismo europeo!! (al menos en Octubre, que es cuando hemos estado). El clima muy bueno, nosotros estuvimos en el tri\u00e1ngulo cultural y luego en las playas del Este, zona poco explotada a\u00fan al turismo pero realmente maravillosa. En el Oeste estaba el monz\u00f3n. \u00a0\u00a1OJO que hay 2!<\/span><\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de 14hrs y una escala corta en Doha llegamos a Colombo, una gran ciudad pero como todo por aquella zona muy an\u00e1rquica, grandes edificios al lado de otros que casi se caen, un caos de tr\u00e1fico impresionante (jurar\u00eda solo haber visto 3 sem\u00e1foros en todo el pa\u00eds), much\u00edsima vida a todas horas y comercios por todas partes (se vende de todo y en cualquier lado). Ya al d\u00eda siguiente nos dirigimos al centro del pa\u00eds (\u00a1OJO! Aunque las distancias no parezcan grandes solo voy a dar un dato, para hacer unos 350 km se tardan casi 8h) a Kandi y all\u00ed unos d\u00edas para visitar la zona: grandes templos budistas e hind\u00faes, un centro de recuperaci\u00f3n y orfanato de elefantes\u2026., y una excursi\u00f3n a una f\u00e1brica de t\u00e9\u00a0con la vuelta en un tren con unas vistas espectaculares, eso si todo a su ritmo, sin prisas que para eso estamos de vacaciones\u2026..Tras 3 noches en Kandi salida para Dambulla lugar perfecto para pasar unos d\u00edas visitando la zona: \u00a0El templo dorado de Dambulla, hacer un peque\u00f1o safari para ver elefantes en libertad y sobre todo visitar Sigiriya (las ruinas de una fortaleza construida sobre un monolito de piedra roja) y Polonnaruwa (ruinas de una antigua capital Real). \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finalmente y tras otras 3 noches por Dambulla salida para Tricolame a descansar, maravillosas y tranquilas playas (nuestro hotel estaba en una playa de unos 3 \u00f3\u00a04 Km sin ninguna otra construcci\u00f3n) y a disfrutar de los fondos de Piegon Island un para\u00edso de coral donde nadar tranquilamente con tiburones de arrecife, tortugas, etc\u2026\u2026 Para los amantes del submarinismo decir que hay unas inmersiones (que yo no puede hacer por las fechas \u2013 informaos antes) a unos pecios de la 2\u00aa guerra mundial que tienen que ser muy chulas\u2026\u2026 Finalmente agradecer al persona de Nyala Tours y su equipo, a nuestro gu\u00eda (Rakita) y a nuestro chofer (Anthony) las atenciones y paciencia. \u00a0Muchas gracias.<\/span><\/p>\n

Quite a sight! <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This year we have opted for Sri Lanka and once again quite a sight! \u00a0The service was great, good hotels, the country ………… .., lovely, lush with history, culture, nature, beach and barely any\u00a0European tourism!! \u00a0(At least in October, when we’ve been). \u00a0Very good climate, we were in the Cultural Triangle and then to\u00a0the beaches of the East, Still\u00a0unexploited areas for tourism, but really wonderful. \u00a0 In the West there was\u00a0the monsoon. \u00a0WATCH OUT there are 2!<\/span><\/p>\n

After 14hrs and a short stopover in Doha, we arrived at Colombo, a great city, but like everything in\u00a0that place, very anarchic area, large buildings next to each other which almost fall, impressive traffic chaos (I swear only seeing 3 traffic lights in\u00a0the country), a lot of life at all times and shops everywhere (selling everything and anywhere). \u00a0So the next day we headed to the center of the country\u00a0(WATCH OUT\u00a0Although the distances do not look big,\u00a0just going to give you a figure, to do\u00a0350 km it takes almost 8 hours!) to Kandi and we were there for a few days to visit the area: \u00a0great Buddhists and Hindus temples , a recovery center and an orphanage for elephants…., and a tour to a tea factory with the return on a train with spectacular views, that\u00b4s so, everything at your own pace, no\u00a0hurries, that’s why we’re on vacation … ..After\u00a03 nights in Kandi we departed to\u00a0Dambulla, which is a perfect place to spend a few days visiting the area: The Golden Temple of Dambulla, made a small safari to see elephants in the wild and especially visit Sigiriya (the ruins of a fortress built on a red monolith stone) and Polonnaruwa (ruins of an ancient royal capital). \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, after another 3 nights for Dambulla departure to\u00a0Tricolame to rest, wonderful and quiet beaches (our hotel was on the beach for\u00a0about 3 or 4 km there was no other construction) and enjoyed the corals of Piegon Island\u00a0where the\u00a0seabed is\u00a0a paradise for swimming quietly with reef sharks, turtles, etc …… For enthusiast divers, note that there are few dives (which I couldn\u00b4t do\u00a0because of time of year – inquire before) of wrecks from\u00a0the 2nd World War they seem\u00a0to be very cool …… Finally thanks to the people of Nyala Tours and their\u00a0team, our guide (Rakita) and our driver (Anthony) for the care and patience.
