Coffee art<\/span><\/h2>\n

Shanghai-based artist Hong Yi<\/strong> decided to create the portrait of the singer Jay Chou, using nothing but Nescafe coffee stains on the bottom of a mug. The artist was inspired by the first line of the song about lifting up a coffee cup off the saucer.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cthe ending of the song is about fragmented pieces \u2013 this is shown through the portrait as a whole \u2013 how it\u2019s formed by many individual rings, many of them broken and imperfect.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe song is about traveling 20 years back in time and is reflected through how the portrait looks like sepia-toned photo.\u00a0 Autumn is shown through the brown colours of the portrait, giving it an old, rustic feel.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
