A special connection through Kenya<\/span><\/h2>\n

Anne and I were friends in eighth grade at the International School of Kenya (ISK). We shared an important part of our childhood in Kenya, a country that gave us memories and experiences that have stayed with us ever since.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many years later, Anne contacted me through Facebook. When she decided to travel to Kenya with her family, she trusted me and Nyala Tours to organise this very special journey.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although we did not meet in Kenya, it was wonderful to reconnect and help her plan her return to a country that means so much to both of us. It was especially moving to know that she was able to share Kenya with her daughters.<\/span><\/p>\n

For me, this was more than organising a family holiday. It was a journey linked to our shared childhood memories and our special connection with Kenya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Muchos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, Anne se puso en contacto conmigo a trav\u00e9s de Facebook. Cuando decidi\u00f3 viajar a Kenia con su familia, confi\u00f3 en m\u00ed y en Nyala Tours para organizar este viaje tan especial.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aunque no nos vimos personalmente en Kenia, fue muy bonito volver a conectar y ayudarla a preparar su regreso a un pa\u00eds que significa mucho para ambos. Adem\u00e1s, fue especialmente emocionante saber que pudo compartir Kenia con sus hijas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Para m\u00ed, fue mucho m\u00e1s que organizar unas vacaciones familiares. Fue un viaje unido a nuestros recuerdos de infancia y a nuestra conexi\u00f3n especial con Kenia.<\/span><\/p>\n

It exceeded all our expectations!<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cOur holiday in Kenya with Nyala Tours was exactly what we wanted. We trusted Miguel\u2019s expertise, and the trip he planned exceeded all our expectations.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The recommended hotels and lodges were lovely. Our driver was knowledgeable and great fun. Throughout the trip, we felt safe and well looked after. Nyala Tours made everything easy, and we will definitely book with them again.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Exploring Nairobi and choosing the hotels<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u201cWe truly had a wonderful time. If I could change anything, I would add another day in Nairobi with a driver. I would have loved to explore the city, find the street where our house used to be and visit the school. It simply means that we need to return!<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All the Sarova hotels were excellent, as was our hotel in Amboseli. The only place we did not love was the Tamarind Tree, especially after using a day room at the Crowne Plaza.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Located very close to the airport, the Crowne Plaza was comfortable and convenient. It would be an excellent place to recover after the flight.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Patrick and the wildlife of Kenya<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u201cOur driver, Patrick, was wonderful. He made sure that we saw all the animals and always found the best views.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

During the safari, we managed to see both the Big Five and the Samburu Special Five. This made the experience even more memorable.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Patrick was also a lively character with many stories and interesting information to share. Both of my daughters really liked him. That says a lot because teenage girls can be very particular!\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Planning another African adventure<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u201cWe had a fantastic time and will definitely be in touch again. First, we need some time to replenish our holiday fund.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Our next adventure could take us to South Africa, Namibia or Botswana. However, we could also be easily convinced to return to Kenya!\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Nairobi y los alojamientos del viaje<\/span><\/h3>\n

Realmente lo pasamos de maravilla. Si pudiera cambiar algo, a\u00f1adir\u00eda otro d\u00eda en Nairobi con un conductor. Me habr\u00eda gustado explorar m\u00e1s la ciudad, encontrar la calle donde estaba nuestra casa y visitar el colegio. \u00a1Eso solo significa que tendremos que regresar!<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Los hoteles Sarova estuvieron muy bien, al igual que el hotel de Amboseli. El \u00fanico alojamiento que no nos encant\u00f3 fue el Tamarind Tree, especialmente despu\u00e9s de utilizar una habitaci\u00f3n de d\u00eda en el Crowne Plaza. Este hotel est\u00e1 muy cerca del aeropuerto y es muy c\u00f3modo. Tambi\u00e9n ser\u00eda una opci\u00f3n estupenda para descansar despu\u00e9s de la llegada del vuelo.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Patrick y la fauna de Kenia<\/span><\/h3>\n

Nos encant\u00f3 nuestro conductor, Patrick. Se asegur\u00f3 de que vi\u00e9ramos todos los animales y siempre encontr\u00f3 los mejores lugares para observarlos. Conseguimos ver tanto a los Cinco Grandes como a los Cinco Especiales de Samburu, por lo que fue una experiencia muy especial.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Patrick tambi\u00e9n era una persona muy animada, con muchas historias e informaci\u00f3n para compartir. Mis dos hijas congeniaron muy bien con \u00e9l, y eso dice mucho, porque las adolescentes pueden ser muy exigentes.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Lo pasamos fenomenal y volveremos a ponernos en contacto. Necesitamos algo de tiempo para reponer nuestro presupuesto de vacaciones, pero nuestro pr\u00f3ximo viaje podr\u00eda ser a Sud\u00e1frica y Namibia o Botsuana. Aunque tambi\u00e9n podr\u00edan convencernos f\u00e1cilmente para regresar a Kenia.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
