We landed in Nairobi with almost no time to prepare and to think of the trip, but the program done by Nyala with all details about the itinerary gave us peace of mind just to go ahead and enjoy, and so it was.

Accommodations have been a joy, each with its charm (location, type of room, food …) and with lots of staff which made everything much faster and easier from the time of the arrival.  Obviously we are left with what was the purpose of the trip, the SAFARI itself.  With a very good guide and driver who knew a lot about the fauna and flora of each of the parks and reserves and also about the history of the country, we have also enjoyed very much as well as to be lucky enough to have seen the big five.  Despite the difficulty of the tall grass, characteristicly of the end of the rainy season, we have seen all the species we expected to see and without binoculars (although they have facilitated them to us).   We have also been able to make a little visit that impressed us alot to the Masai tribe, in addition to a boat trip on Lake Naivasha (we recommend taking a jacket for those who will do it).  Samburu and its precious species of zebras and giraffes.  Aberdares with the base camp of Baden Powel and its peculiar accommodation.  Lake Nakuru, with the reality of the Flamingos being  a bit in the distance, but with the surprise of a Lion and Rhino that we spotted just in front of us.  The Masai Mara where we could see them all.  And finally the best sunsets and sunrises next to Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, along with those elephants bathing.  Then came the relaxation in Mombasa.

Three days of total relaxation in a nice hotel with a great variety of activities.  Although the water was a bit in motion and the speed of the clouds due to the wind would not let us do alot of snorkeling and we had less sun than expected, they were three days of total relaxation in a hotel with a great variety of activities and facilities, with the very pleasant temperatures one can enjoy the water even if the sun doesn´t shine strong all the time.

In short … a spectacular trip that was followed up by the agency and its support via whatsapp upto the end … Although initially we doubted about the agency for not being able to talk and pay for the organized trip face-to-face the truth is that the experience has been great.  We finished delighted with the trip and all the details and now what we have left is to to see and select the best pictures from the 2000 we shot!!!
